A Simple Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year was pretty simple, which we like. It was special because we got to spend some time with our sweet Daniel.

Daniel and I at the pizza place.  It is a place right by his house.  We go there quite often. 

The fabulous pizza.  Ham and pineapple.  It was really good.

We hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating that special person in your life known as Mother.

Volunteers And Spring

We have a really good crop of volunteer tomatoes this year. We don't know what kind they are yet. Just hope they are good. Tom still needs to separate them out. He has already taken two out.

Kathy Mattea

Last night Tom and I went to the Napa Valley Opera House to see Kathy Mattea. She was wonderful. Here is one of the songs she sang. She let us sing on the chorus. It was fun.

Missions, Meetings, Music And A Marriage

Many things have been happening in our family.  We are enjoying it all.


MISSIONS:  My nephew Davey, received his mission call a few weeks back.  He is going to Argentina.  We are so excited.  Also, my honorary nephews got their calls too.  One is going to Idaho and the other is going to New York.


MEETINGS:  We had an annual meeting about Daniel at his school.  He is doing very well and the people that work with him really enjoy being with him.  They were all amazed at what he is able to do.
Daniel also had to have a meeting with a person from the court.  It was for his conservator ship.  The lady said he was well and happy where he was.  We are so blessed to have him where he is.


MUSIC:  Tom and I have been enjoying lots of musical concerts.  We have seen Chris Botti and Wynton Marsalis.  They are both trumpet players.  They were sooooo good.  Next month we are going to see Kathy Mattea.  She is a great country singer.


MARRIAGE:  Tom's niece just became engaged to a marine.  They will probably be getting married in 6 months or so.  A trip to Arizona will be in our future.

Christmas And Daniel's Little Sister

For Christmas Tom, Daniel and I went to Fresno. We had a nice time. All of David and Robin's kids were there.

A quilt that McKenzie's wonderful aunt made for her.  Lucky girl.

Ashley and Andrew(the married couple) gave everybody matching pajamas.

Daniel's" little sister "Chloe turned 1 on Jan. 16.  This is her eating her own personal cake.

Tom's Debut As A Featured Soloist
