Trumpet Update

Tom was able to get a new trumpet about 2 weeks ago to replace the one that was stolen.  It is the same kind but him and his trumpet teacher think it is a little bit better .  So glad he was able to get another one and that he really likes it.  He is going to put a special insurance on it and will never leave it in the car again.

Scratch That

I hate to have to write this but Tom didn't get his trumpet back.  The pawn shop said they had it but they didn't.  I guess the guy who stole it came in with it but didn't take the offer. We are still hoping for a miracle.

Miracles Still Happen

Earlier this week Tom's car was broken into and his prized trumpet was taken.  He filed a police report.  Today his trumpet was located in a nearby pawn shop.  He has a friend who has a pawn shop and Tom contacted him.  He sent word out to other pawn shops and one shop had it.  We are beyond happy about this.

29 Years And Counting

June 12th was our 29th wedding anniversary.  I checked my email that day and there was an email from Tom about buying tickets to see Frankie Valli.  I am so excited.  We love his music and we have seen Jersey Boys 3 times.  Can't wait for a fun, fabulous night.

Our New Addition To The Family

 

Meet the newest member of our family.  2002 E55.  She is a great car.  We had to get a new car because the car I was driving was totaled.  

 

 

 

 

Saturday Afternoon Date

Saturday afternoon Tom and I got on BART and rode into San Francisco.  We got there a little a head of time so we found a nice diner to have lunch.  We had the best fish tacos we have ever tasted.  Then we headed to the theater for the play Jersey Boys.  We really enjoyed it but there was a lot of swearing in it.  We have seen it a couple of times before and we don't remember there being that much swearing in it.  But despite that, it is a good play and the music is awesome.  Those guys were so talented.

New Year's Eve Fun

Tom and I usually do not go out on New Year's Eve but this year we did.  We had a wonderful time.
First we went to a Chinese/Japanese restaurant.  It was so good.  We had sauteed green bean dish that was to die for.  They also had on the Golden State Warriors game on which made Tom really happy.

After that we went over to Saint Mary's College to watch a basketball game.  It was Saint Mary's against BYU.  Unfortunately BYU lost but it was still fun.
