These are some pictures of "my home away from home" or my classroom. This is my piano that I play every morning. We sing This Land is Your Land.
This is my desk. It is usually neater than this but the pile of stuff is what I had to run off today.
This is a cute sign that I bought several years ago at Fresno State Vintage Days.

This sign above was made by an old college roommate. She gave it to me when I graduated from BYU in 1983. It always hangs in my classroom.

How fun it was to get some glimpses into your classroom. There are definitely days I miss being in the classroom. Your blog looks so pretty by the way! So cheerful and springy! I love it!
Fun seeing your very organized looking classroom. I didn't know you knew how to play the piano! I love the 'Teachers Have Class'...cute!! Those class rules are GOOD...especially the last one.
Karen, You are certainly neat and organized! I'm sure your students feel safe and secure in the environment you've created for them. They are lucky to have such a "Together-Teacher." Fondly, Susan
Karen is a real professional. She gets my vote for teacher of the year.
Your messy desk looks pretty clean to me. I would hate to see what my desk would look like if I were a teacher.
