Alaskan Adventure-----Part 1

On June 11 Tom and I left for Seattle, Washington. We spent the night there and then the next morning we boarded this ship for Alaska. The view from the boat before we set sail. Before we left, we had to do a mustar drill. We had to put on these lovely life vests and report to station 9.

Sigrid, Debbie, me and Stephanie on the deck of the ship the day we left.

Our very comfortable bed.

All the comforts of home.

Toilet and shower.

Me taking a picture of our sink.

Our closet. There really was lots of room in there.

Every night there was a towel animal on our bed. This monkey was our favorite. We also had a rabbit, sting ray, dog and a swan.

Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3.

I have always wondered what it looks like on a cruise ship. I had no idea you had a TV and room for your computer! I don't get the animal towels though....how puts those together?

Karen, Although it was wonderful to be able to leave from San Francisco so we didn't have to pack for the airplane, it did add 3-1/2 extra sea days to the trip and that was the part we didn't like. Before the end came, we were anxious for it to be over. Love all your pictures. I hope referring people to your site won't be like plagerizing. (IF I actually do a blog, which is doubtful.) Fondly, Susan
