Tom and I, well mostly Tom, decided to grow some tomatoes. I was all for it. Here are 3 of our plants. There are no tomatoes yet, but we are still holding out hope. We love them.
Here is a great video for you to enjoy about homegrown tomatoes. Money can't buy true love or homegrown tomatoes.
Hey Karen, This was so fun to watch. That was a catchy tune to be sure. If there was some way to add home grown corn into that song too, it'd be perfect. Can't buy love, home grown tomatoes or home grown corn on the cob. Well, maybe that'd ruin the song. Let us know when those plants bear their fruit! Fondly, Susan
Well your pictures look promising. Hello! I'm your newest follower from the 40 and over blog hop, so I guess I'll be watching the progress you and Tom have with your tomato bushes. Cute video - I do love those southern accents. :)
Hope you'll visit my blog and follow me too. Thanks
LMAO That video was too much! Where did you ever hear that? I have one tomato plant on my front porch. I have Spinal stenosis so I can't bend over to pick weeds, so I'm trying just one tomato plant because I love home grown so much. Wish me luck! I'm you're latest follower! You have a real fun blog! ~hehe~
Have you ever been to the south? We grow 'ok' 'maters but man oh man do we grow some sweet taters! LOL We are so overrun with them that they use them to fill up the potholes! ;)

Alright - that does it. I now want to be buried in the tomato patch.

Isn't it so fun to check the plants every day to see how they are growing! Good luck!
It seems like my dad's tomatoes don't start coming in until mid-late July. I can't wait to get some free tomatoes! :D
Found you on Friday Follow. Great Blog! I'm your newest follower.

HiKaren-
Wow, I'm such a city girl I can't even fathom making my own food. Perhaps some day when I move into my own home I'll try it.
And tanks for stopping by my blog!

What a fun blog. Great photography, fun music, something yummy to eat. Means you gotta be a fun gal too. You go, girl.

There is nothing quite like homegrown tomatoes. The other store bought ones can't even compare.
Your tomatoes are looking great! Nothing tastes as sweet as a home grown tomato!! :P yum!
