The Relatives Came To Visit Us

The first group came on Sunday night. We had a really nice dinner. Sorry there are no pictures but we were just busy enjoying the moment. We had spaghetti and fish for dinner. It was wonderful. The relatives were, Tom and I, 3 grown children, their 3 spouses, and 5 really cute grandchildren. (3 boys and 2 girls) That was a total of 13 people.

The next set of relatives that came were my mother and my niece McKenzie. They stayed for a couple of days. Their visit included a trip over to San Francisco of course.
We went and saw Daniel. (that is a must) We ate Burger King in a little park by his house.
McKenzie and I on the boat/ferry to San Francisco.
Mom and I at Ghirardelli Square eating the most wonderful ice cream sundaes. McKenzie was better and ate two chocolate covered strawberries.
Coming into the port at the Ferry Building.
And of course the wonderful chocolate at Ghirardelli Square.

Tom and I had the most wonderful time when the relatives came. We hope they will come and visit again. Also, other relatives not mentioned here could come also.

That book about the relatives coming to visit is my absolute favorite children's book. It certainly fits my family "in the olden days." The pictures are great! Looks like everyone had fun. Fondly, Susan

I don't think McKenzie is home before she is planning her next trip to be with you - she tells me it is going to be an Alaskan Cruise??? Whatever it is or where ever it is - she loves being with you. Thanks for being so wonderful to her!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! The Sundaes must have been yummy and they would be my pick over strawberries any day. McKenzie must have wonderful self control/or does not like ice-cream!
Happy Easter!

I have never even heard of that book but I want to find one. Love the name of it!

I talked to your Mom last Saturday and I could tell she had a great time with you, as always.

Fabulous pictures. I just have to go to Frisco some day, at least for one of those delicious sundaes. Thanks for sharing. What a wonderful time with family you had. I wish mine were still around to do that with, but it's the next generation now & I have all my children/grandchildren to do that with. Have a great weekend.
