There Is An Angel In Vallejo

Today I had to go to the post office to apply for a passport. It is for our cruise that we are taking in June. We are going to Alaska but then going to Canada on the way back. So I was there doing all the stuff, filling out the paper work, getting my picture taken etc. When it came time to pay I was $5 short. I had to have at least $75 cash and the rest I could put on my Visa. Anyway this older lady was there waiting and she gave the clerk the $5 for me!! Then she left. The clerk asked me if the lady was here just for me because she didn't get served. Wow! This experience really touched my heart. You know they say there are angels who walk among us. I think I saw one today.

I know an angel - her name is Karen.

Maybe she used her last $5.00 and that's why she didn't stay for service! That truly makes her a certified angel. Hey Karen, when are you going to Alaska? We are going on a cruise from San Francisco to Alaska leaving on the 25th of June--Princess Line. Think we'll see each other? Fondly, Susan

What a wonderful story! I love to hear about such generosity from others. It just brings a smile when you hear things like that. Such a small and simple thing...yet having such an impact. Thanks Karen for sharing.

Cody was an angel one day and the guy waited outside the store to get his name/address because even though it might take a while, he was going to pay him back. Many months later they got a check in the mail with a thank you card. it was so touching.

I left a comment that was really long about what a great, heartwarming story this was and it wasn't saved. Anyway, I believe there are angels everywhere and this is a great story! You are going to have to teach me now how to not be anonymous. It makes me feel like I am embarrassed to be seen on your blog - which you know I am not! Have a great day. Love, Amy
