Fun-Filled AND Fabulous

Tom and I had a fun-filled fabulous weekend. It started on Thursday by going to Sacramento and seeing the play Forever Plaid. It was great.Tom and I at our table in the theater. We were right in front of the stage. These are all the people we went with. We are waiting for our dinner at Texas Roadhouse. On Friday, I got my new glasses. Aren't I cute? They beat the ole blue cat-eye glasses I had as a kid. I just need them for driving and reading. This is Tom's cousin getting ready to pitch for the Oakland A's. He just got called up from the Sacramento River Cats. We were going to go to that game but he got called up to the "big leagues" Saturday evening Tom played his trumpet with the Vallejo Adult Community Band. They all did great. Tom is doing well for only playing this about 4 months. Afterwards, he surprised me by taking me out to dinner at Black Angus. It was good.

Looks like you've been having fun! That's pretty cool that Tom just started playing trumpet 4 months ago and already is playing in a band! Good for him! Have a great week!

That would be my kind of fun!
I wish I could say I only needed my glasses for driving and reading!

How was Texas Roadhouse? I hear the wait for table can be rather long. Also, good job Tom on playing the trumpet. I hope you are having a lot of fun with it.
