My Amazing Discovery Made Me Feel Like a Kid Again

Today I went out to do some shopping. I needed some shoes. Anybody who knows me, knows I hate to shop for shoes. My feet are short, flat, wide and have bumps where there shouldn't be. I am also very picky and like practical and simple shoes. Well, try and find those. Usually I have good luck with Payless Shoe Source. I went in and right away I found some black pumps I have been looking for. Good start. I then hear familiar voices on the other side of the shoe rack. Sure enough, it was my friend Elaine and her granddaughter. While talking she told me that certain sizes in Woman's shoes will be a certain size in children's. I went over there and it was true!! I found two pairs of wonderful and comfortable shoes. Payless rocks. I thought these shoes would be perfect for Ashley's wedding in January.

I have been looking all over for these. These shoes are perfect for work.

Usually I wear a 6, 6/12 size shoe in women's. But these two pair of shoes that I got were 41/2 in Kids.
This knowledge has opened up a whole new world to me.

I always seem to see such cute shoes on other people's feet but when I look for shoes I can't find them. Congratulations on finding cute shoes!

I found this out myself some time ago and it made shoe shopping for McKenzie tolerable.... only for us it worked in the opposite direction. She has never cared for children's styles, you know the ones with characters on them so when we found out she could get shoes in the adult department I just can't tell you what a great day it was for all of us. Why on earth isn't this general knowledge?? Good tip Karen!

I just got some like that 2nd pair from Clarks. We can wear them to work the same days and be twins.
