Playing In The Street In Downtown Vallejo

Tom has been playing the trumpet for over a year. He has joined a couple of community bands. He is really enjoying it. Wednesday night they performed on a street corner in downtown Vallejo. Here is one of their songs called The Chicken. Tom is in the back row, on the right, wearing a white baseball cap. Enjoy.

Very good. I love big band music. Sending a bighand clapping to Tom! Good performance. Gerry

I really, really want to start playing my flute again! First on the agenda: finding one that's decent and still fits in my budget!

His band has a very old fashioned feel to it. I never knew Tom was so musical until I heard his solo at Christmas. Impressive!

Well, that's totally cool! I've never heard that song before, but I love jazz, so that is really awesome to me. They're really good & I could hear Tom. He's been playing such a short time to be so good! Raw talent totally marvelous. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by. More vacations pics are up today, but I will have my actual vacation post tomorrow. Have a great day.
