Tom has been playing the trumpet for over a year. He has joined a couple of community bands. He is really enjoying it. Wednesday night they performed on a street corner in downtown Vallejo. Here is one of their songs called The Chicken. Tom is in the back row, on the right, wearing a white baseball cap. Enjoy.

Very good. I love big band music. Sending a bighand clapping to Tom! Good performance. Gerry
I really, really want to start playing my flute again! First on the agenda: finding one that's decent and still fits in my budget!
What a fun treat early in the morning!!! I can see why Tom is really enjoying it. Good for him. Thanks for sharing. Loved it. Fondly, Susan
Very good! I've never went inside of Vallejo..just stopping at Marine World. lol
Glad he's having fun. Looks like fun!
What a funky little beat that song has! I love it! I think it's awesome that you have concerts like that on the the street. They are quite good. I love to see musicians having so much fun playing their music. Candace
Right from the start it was GREAT!!!
PS. My son played trumpet in HS!
BRAVO! Tom, we enjoyed our short trip to Cali-fornia. We were impressed with the progress you've made. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for stopping by and for the kind comment.
Oh wow! Way to go Tom!
His band has a very old fashioned feel to it. I never knew Tom was so musical until I heard his solo at Christmas. Impressive!
Jill - you are very kind.
So cool!
Well, that's totally cool! I've never heard that song before, but I love jazz, so that is really awesome to me. They're really good & I could hear Tom. He's been playing such a short time to be so good! Raw talent totally marvelous. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by. More vacations pics are up today, but I will have my actual vacation post tomorrow. Have a great day.
That's really neat.
