Things That Make Me Happy

For several reasons, that I won't go into, I decided I needed a real "pick-me-up" . So I went around my house and took pictures of things I like to look at in my house and or things that make me happy.

My living room. I just love this room. It is so peaceful.

Some of "my girls". I love dolls. The one in the green dress was a doll I had when I was a kid. Several years ago, I fixed her up.

The rest of my American Girl Doll collection.

My cabinet full of Boyds Bear figurines. There are some dolls in there and some American Girl figurines too.

My Kids. Actually, David and Robin's.

Daniel's bedroom.

Some pictures of Daniel when he was about 8 or so. This is at our old house in Concord. Tom took these pictures and had them framed.

My very organized bathroom draw.

My very organized closet. I love wonder hangers.

Jigsaw puzzles from the dollar store.

Last, but not least, my blog, with comments, and your blogs too. I really love blogging.

This is one of my favorite posts of you because it shows so much of who you are, and I get to see more of your house. I just love the way you decorated Daniel's bedroom. You have that same artistic ability your Mom has. And you are so organized! I especially like the way you did your bathroom drawer. And what are wonder hangers? Your living room is so pretty. And the doll collection...the one on the far right looks just like McKenzie!...did you plan that?

I want organized bathroom drawers like you have!!!

I loved all your pictures. I can see why those places and things make you happy. You are awesome.

Thanks for sharing your treasures and special places. It appears you are abundantly blessed. And, you're thankful for those blessings, which is the more precious part.

Fondly, Susan

Thanks Susan and Jill for your wonderful comments. You too are welcome here any time to be able to see my house in person. LOL

Wonder Hangers are those hangers that you can hang 5 garments in at a time. It makes more room in your closet.
